Vancouver Drug Treatment Court
The Drug Treatment Court of Vancouver (DTCV) offers an alternative to incarceration for non-violent offenders addicted to heroin, cocaine or opiates. The program aims to treat drug addiction and improve a social stability and reduce the criminal behavior associated with substance abuse.
Non-violent offenders charged with drug related offence are eligible. The Crown must determine that the offence was motivated by addiction and not committed solely for financial gain.

Stone Henge Therapuetic Facility - Guelph Ontario
Stonehenge Therapeutic Community is a non-profit addiction agency providing long-term residential care to men and women with a history of chronic drug abuse.
The four to six month treatment stay is designed to address the behaviorial and emotional issues of drug dependency. Residents will move through four progressive phases of treatment with the option to participate in continuing care for a period of two years, For those individuals unsure or unable to enter treatment, a weekly group is available. Stonehenge also offers group support to family members who wish to be involved
All admissions to Stonehenge are on a voluntary basis. Men and women over the age of sixteen who have a history of chronic drug abuse will be considered for eligibility. Referrals are accepted from individuals, health care professionals, and the criminal justice system.
